What Analitika collects, why, where it is kept, and how it is deleted. Written to be read, not skimmed.

Analitika is a Shopify app that a merchant installs on their store. It measures how shoppers move through the store — which pages they look at, for how long, what they add to the cart, where in checkout they stop — and shows the merchant reports.
Two kinds of people are affected:
Analitika is operated by Goran Jordanoski, North Macedonia. Questions and requests: support@berezitski.com.
Measurement runs in the shopper's browser through two Shopify mechanisms: a theme app embed on storefront pages and a web pixel on checkout pages. Where the law requires consent, nothing is collected until the shopper accepts analytics cookies through the store's own cookie banner (Shopify's Customer Privacy API). Without that consent, Analitika sets no cookie and records nothing.
For each page a shopper opens, Analitika records:
And these actions: a product added to or removed from the cart (product, quantity, price); each step of checkout reached (with the checkout's totals); a search — the number of results, and the words searched for after removing anything that looks like an e-mail address or a number that could identify someone. A search term is never shown together with who searched it.
Analitika never records what a shopper types into a form field, a name, an e-mail address, a phone number, or a postal address.
A random identifier is stored in a first-party cookie named __aid, valid for one year, so that a returning shopper is recognised as the same visitor. It is set only after consent where consent is required. A second random identifier for the current visit lives in the browser's session storage and disappears when the browser tab is closed. Analitika uses no third-party cookies.
When a shopper is logged in to the store, Analitika also records their Shopify customer number, so that the merchant's reports can connect a visit to an order. The number is all Analitika holds — not the name or contact details behind it.
The IP address is never used to identify a person or to link visits together.
With the merchant's permission, granted when the app is installed, Analitika receives from Shopify:
Only to show the merchant reports about their own store: pages, products, checkout, traffic sources, where visitors come from, and the visitor pool — who is at which stage of buying, who came back, who went quiet.
Location is shown by country and region, never finer. One report groups visits by the income level of the area they come from, combining region counts with public statistics (US Census, World Bank). That describes places, never a person, and groups with fewer than ten visitors are not shown.
Analitika does not sell data, does not share it with advertisers, does not use it for advertising, does not combine data across stores to profile a person, and does not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
Data is stored on servers run by DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union), on a managed database with encryption at rest. All traffic between the shopper's browser, Shopify and Analitika is encrypted in transit.
Sub-processors: Shopify (the platform the store runs on) and DigitalOcean (hosting). No one else receives the data.
Data is kept for as long as the merchant uses Analitika, so that their history and year-on-year comparisons stay available. It is deleted:
Every such request and what was done with it is logged.
The store's domain, the access credentials Shopify issues to the app, and the merchant's login session for the app. These are deleted when the app is uninstalled.
Shoppers: contact the store you visited; the merchant is responsible for your data and can ask Analitika to delete or provide it. You may also write to Analitika directly. Merchants: write to us at any time about your store's data.
